Water based adhesive.

Characteristics:
Leather and shoe manufacturers. Suitable for laminating and folding leather, eco-leather, fabrics, covers, cardboards, reconstituted leather for belts, uppers, bags, wallets, heels, insoles and EVA orthopedic insoles.
Also suitable for upper/insole lasting and for heel and wedge wrapping.

Instructions for use:
AS ONE-COMPONENT ADHESIVE
Apply ECOSTICK® 5020 to both surfaces and allow to dry, until the adhesive film is transparent.
Couple and press down.
At the end of open time (4 hours), reactivate the adhesive by heat (surface temperature of the adhesive film: 60-65°C), then couple and press down.

AS TWO-COMPONENT ADHESIVE
It’s possible to improve resistance to temperature, hydrolysis, plasticizers, oils and grease, etc. by addition of external hardener.
Thoroughly mix ECOSTICK® 5020 with the hardener.
Apply to both surfaces and allow to dry.
Couple and press within 1 hour.
Final bond strength after about 48 hours

Open Time:
4 hours, depending on the amount of adhesive and type of substrate

Remarks:
ECOSTICK® 5020 is a neoprene adhesive with excellent bonding performance with excellent sealing and strength. Leaves no stains, does not stiffen the leather and does not stick the needle in the sewing process.
Bonding by heat activation and by addition of catalyst is also possible.
